Come join us for an educational and entertaining afternoon curated by a pair of Cornell alumni-owned businesses, Workhorse Brewing and Saxbys, celebrating a collaboration by CEO and founder of Saxbys Nick Bayer ’00 and CBO/co-founder of Workhorse Dan Hershberg ’06. The collab, a coffee vanilla porter called ‘Start It Up’, was born out of their shared love of entrepreneurship and the shared ability of both coffee and beer to kickstart compelling conversations and ideas.
Dan and Nick have graciously invited us for a tasting of their collaboration, a beer flight, a Q&A discussion and an optional tour of the Workhorse Brewing facility. The Workhorse tap room has several TVs playing the afternoon’s football games, as well as shuffleboard and cornhole if you’d like to stay after and hang out. Make a day of your trip to King of Prussia and stop by the mall on your way in or out of town for some last-minute shopping.
At the conclusion of our event, Dan and Nick have pulled together a joint holiday gift basket featuring product and swag from both companies should you want to purchase a last-minute stocking stuffer for the coffee and beer lover in your life.
Registration is required and covers the cost of the beer tasting flight and tour. Additional purchases are a la carte. Food will be available for purchase through Wegmans 2GO, a delivery partnership with the upstate NY grocery chain featuring made to order menu items.
