Get hands-on with an exciting volunteering opportunity, in partnership with the Cornell Hotel Society South Florida Chapter. Volunteers will work alongside Vizcaya Museum & Gardens staff to landscape and beautify the historic gardens, and preserve James Deering’s vision for all who visit the park. Volunteers are encouraged to stay and continue to explore the gardens for free after the project has been completed! No admission fee is required for volunteers.

Volunteers should dress comfortably for outdoor landscaping/gardening work. Wear sensible lace-up footwear. A hat and sunglasses will make you even more comfortable! Please do NOT attend if you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of sense of smell, fatigue, etc.

This event is limited to 20 participants. If you can no longer attend, please email Melissa and she will release your spot. At the event, HandsOn Miami (the organizer for Vizcaya’s volunteer events) will have you sign a release form.
