CCGH Zinck’s Night
October 17, 2019 @ 6:00 pm
New Britain, CT
It’s that time of year– “a Thursday in October to remember!”
The International Spirit of Zinck’s Night is an annual event for all Cornellians around the world to gather at favorite local haunts and celebrate our shared affinity. A refresher on how it all began…
Theodore Zinck was the proprietor of a popular Ithaca saloon [the Hotel Brunswick] during the 1890s. Thereafter, a series of establishments in the Collegetown vicinity adopted Zinck’s brand until the 1960’s when the last of his namesake closed. Ever since, the global Cornell community has been celebrating the spirit of Zinck’s Night by gathering together over cheer on a Thursday night every year.
