CCFC: Cornell Cares Day at the Darien Book Aid

In existence since 1949, Darien Book Aid is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that builds a foundation of peace, understanding, and friendship through the free distribution of books. Book Aid sends books in response to specific requests from Peace Corps volunteers, libraries and schools all over the world. Spend the morning with us selecting and packing a box of books.

Two sessions available: 8:00 a..m. – 10 a.m. and 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and $15 donation is suggested to help defray the cost of shipping the books.

Suitable for high school age and older. Max of 12 participants per session. 
    
Donations of books always welcome in the lobby of the DBA (open 24/7). See the list of requested books here.

Time: First Shift is 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Second Shift  is 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Location: Darien Book Aid, 1926 Post Road, Darien, CT
Suggested Donation: $15 to help cover the cost of shipping the books (payable at the event)
