In existence since 1949, Darien Book Aid is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that builds a foundation of peace, understanding, and friendship through the free distribution of books. Book Aid sends books in response to specific requests from Peace Corps volunteers, libraries and schools all over the world. Spend the morning with us selecting and packing a box of books.

Suitable for high school age and older. Max of 8 participants. If the event is full, please add your name to this wait list. If there is enough interest, we may add a second session from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Donations of books always welcome in the lobby of the DBA (open 24/7). Check the website for the types of books requested.
