Join us for a fun-filled day celebrating autumn that includes pumpkin picking, a hayride, fall vegetables and other “agritainment” at the Jones Family Farms! Come enjoy classic New England scenery and beautiful fall foliage at the Jones Family Farms. We’ll take a hayride through the farm, exploring all the farm’s different crops with the beautiful hillsides as the backdrop.

Harvest your own Pumpkins. (Pumpkins are purchased separately and priced by their size.) Take photos of fall displays from the “Queen Bee Chair” or vintage farm truck. Have fun exploring a mini-corn maze and see paintings of different colors of corn. Learn about the fascinating world of squash from farmers eager to discuss cooking techniques and their favorite recipes. Dr. Richard Cowles ’82 from the CT Agricultural Experiment Station will also give a talk on agriculture to our guests.
