Please join the Big Red Bookworms on Monday, May 11 at 7 pm, for a lively discussion (on zoom) of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Hernán Díaz, Trust.

Told from the perspective of four different characters and spanning over 100 years, the story holds its central secret close, turning the reader into a detective, tasked with figuring out what really happened. The central conceit of the book—that perspective shapes the truth—is an echo of Akira Kurosawa’s 1950 masterpiece, Rashomon.

Attendees are invited to watch the film in advance of our meeting, for a truly comparative discussion. For event questions please contact Esther at: Estherlibe@hotmail.com
