Join the Cornell Club of Eastern Florida for our annual Cornell Cares Day where we assist local non-profit organizations.

On Saturday, January 13 from 9 AM to 11 AM, we will be assisting the non-profit farm Nourishing Food for Thought at Jupiter Creamery in Jupiter Farms. The farm’s mission is to empower people to take an active role in the food that they consume. They believe in the value of clean, nutritionally dense food, and the necessity of raising animals in a holistic, sustainable environment. Through their educational programs, tours, and events, they are working to give the community the knowledge and the skills that they need to produce their own wholesome food. Our tasks will include a general clean up throughout the 10-acre farm and feeding, brushing, and possibly even washing their cows! There will be tasks comparable to everyone’s physical abilities. This will be an excellent educational event for the whole family to learn more about the foods they consume.

The farm is located at 18591 131st Trail North in Jupiter Farms. From either I95 (exit 87B) or the Florida Turnpike (exit 116), exit at the Jupiter Indiantown Road exit. Travel west on Indiantown Road approximately 5.5 miles and then turn right on 131st Trail North. The farm will be on your left after about .6 miles. For questions, please contact Katie Bouyea, 4gopackgo@gmail.com.

There is no cost for this event. Please Register for the Jupiter farm event so we have an idea how many volunteers we will have.
