Please join Cornell alumni, their families and friends, and current Cornell students for Hartford Yard Goat (YG) Baseball at the new Dunkin’ Donuts Park in Downtown Hartford.

The afternoon/evening will be sponsored by the Coastal Connecticut Cornell Club (CCCC) and will begin with CCCC’s Annual meeting at 4:15 p.m. in the Stadium’s Executive Boardroom, which is located adjacent to the YG Club Luxury Suite.

Alumni from all other Cornell Clubs are cordially invited to the meeting. The YG Club Luxury Suite opens at 4:00 p.m. and will be available to all Cornell guests. This area is usually reserved for high-end YG patrons and offers comfortable seating, a great view of the stadium, a full service bar, and food. 

At the conclusion of CCCC’s business meeting, around 5:00 PM, everybody is invited to socialize in the YG Club Suite. Just outside the Suite’s doors, on the Party Deck, a full buffet dinner will be served for Cornellians selecting the $40 per person buffet/game ticket option. The buffet includes hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, Italian sausage, Mac N’ Cheese, chips, cookies, and non-alcoholic drinks, and it will remain open until around the 7th inning. Tables will be set up on the Party Deck for us. But food can also be brought to your stadium seats, which adjoin the Deck. 

For those wishing to skip the buffet, $16 stadium seating is also available for Cornell guests. These seats are located next to our Party Deck seating, and each ticket includes a $2 voucher for a la carte food and drinks at the various Stadium stands and in the YG Club Suite. 

These special Cornell group rates are fantastic. Individual stadium tickets can frequently sell for as high as $32 to $50 per seat on the open market. And this is without food. According to Park Management, the $40 per person buffet/seat option actually represents the best deal, as it offers guests all-you-can-eat food right next to their seats and throughout most of the game. Going a la carte with our $16 tickets can get a bit pricey.

Those 3 years and younger go free and can take part in the buffet, if their parents have selected the buffet/ticket option. But they will not have their own seat and must sit on a parent’s lap during the game. There is also a Stadium kid’s playground for our use, out beyond right field.

Dunkin’ Donuts Park is a beautiful venue. It was voted Best Double-A Ballpark for 2017 and opened last year to rave reviews. Come join us for our Annual Meeting and a fantastic family event. 

Note: The Dunkin’ Donuts Park is almost sold out for the evening of May 19th. The Deadline for Event Registration has had to be moved up to Noon, Monday, April 23. We must also place a ceiling of 50 guests on the Buffet/Game Ticket option being held on the Sam Adams Party Deck.  At this point, there are also additional tickets available for the Hartford Terrace. These seats are adjacent to the Party Deck, and Cornell guests will still have access to the Yard Goat Club Luxury Suite.  The only difference is that Terrace Guests will have to purchase food at the various venues around the Park. Thus, should buffet tickets sell out, check the Terrace option for seats.
