David Skorton, Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, previously President of Cornell, will be in Seattle on November 1,  speaking at “People,  Passion,  Purpose,” a Smithsonian event being held at the Seattle Art Museum.  The free evening includes three speakers from three of the Smithsonian’s nineteen Museums talking about their remarkable work.
