Your’re invited to hear Dr. Matthew A. Evangelista ’81, President White Professor of History and Political Science at Cornell, speak on the compelling topic, Should Human Rights Standards Apply to War?

Dr. Evangelista teaches courses in international and comparative politics and serves as director of Cornell’s Judith Reppy Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies. With an undergraduate degree in Russian History and Literature from Harvard and a certificate in Russian language from Moscow’s Pushkin Institute, plus an MA and PhD in Government from Cornell, he will offer his expertise and insights into our troubling climate of war and peace.

When: Wednesday, Nov. 8, 6:30 PM reception, 7:00 PM talk

Where: Country Club of Rochester, 2935 East. Ave., Rochester
