Cornell Club of Colorado

๐ŸŒธ The Banshee House Spring Soiree
๐Ÿ“…Monday, March 30 | 6:30 – 9:00 PM
๐Ÿ“ Banshee House, 2715 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205

Join the Cornell Club of Colorado for an extraordinary spring evening in Denver’s RiNO Arts District as we welcome Michelle Vaeth ’98, Cornell’s Associate Vice President for Alumni Affairs.

For this special gathering, we are taking over the beautiful Banshee House — a historic RiNO home and gallery known for its beauty, style, and quiet mystique.

The evening will feature two distinct experiences:

๐Ÿท Slovenian Wine Lab & Sabering Experience – SOLD OUT
$64 | Young Alumni $48
Limited to 18 guests

Led by our friend Tony, Master Sommelier candidate and Denver Wine Merchant buyer (and the curator of the wine program for our Governor’s Mansion Holiday Soirée), this immersive 90-minute multi-sensory wine experience will explore the expressive and elegant wines of Slovenia — one of the most thrilling regions in the wine world, with a winemaking tradition that stretches back centuries.

In a beautifully designed upstairs salon space evoking the romance of 1920s Paris, Tony will guide guests through:

  • A curated tasting of six wines highlighting Slovenia, with a few gems from Colorado
  • Charcuterie pairings designed to complement each wine
  • A deeper exploration of one of Europe’s most dynamic wine regions

And then – the grand finale.

Guests will learn the history and culture of Champagne sabering – the dramatic centuries-old tradition of opening sparkling wine with a sword – before seeing a demonstration and trying it themselves.

Michelle Vaeth ’98 will join this intimate experience.

โš ๏ธ Only 18 seats available. This will sell out quickly.
