Last year was one of the largest Cornell Cares Days to date with over 40 sites across the country and internationally! This coming year, Cornell Cares Day will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Join the Cornell Club of Greater Miami and the Cornell Club of Fort Lauderdale as we serve Feeding South Florida on this special day of service.

Feeding South Florida is the sole Feeding America food bank serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. It is the largest and most efficient food bank in each of the counties it serves.

Through direct-service programs and a network of nonprofit partner agencies, including soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters, and day cares, Feeding South Florida rescues 46 million pounds of food per year, as well as leads hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and provides innovative programming and education.

The organization is always in need of volunteers to assist with the sort process–that’s where we come in! Anyone over the age of 12 can volunteer so encourage your family and friends to get involved as well.
