Please join the Cornell Club of Chicago for a private Meet & Greet with Professor Bob Lieberman ’62, whose new film, Angkor Awakens- A Portrait of Cambodia, will be showing at the Wilmette Theater June 2-9. You have received an email from Cornell announcing the film’s run in Wilmette. Rave reviews are coming in with every showing! We will be attending the 2:00 pm show on Saturday, June 3 (purchase your tickets directly from the theater), followed by an audience Q&A at 3:30 pm. At 4:00 pm we will join Bob for socializing and more Q&A during a private gathering at the Valley Lodge Tavern, 1141 Central Ave., Wilmette, just steps from the theater. Wine and munchies will be provided by reception hosts Barb ’69 and Bob ’68 Spencer. You may also order items from the menu “pay as you go.” There is no event fee but please register so we can tell the restaurant how many guests to expect. Space is limited so register as soon as you can!
