Join the Cornell Asian American Alumni for a private outdoor Cornell Row Boating event at the The Village Community Boathouse (VCB) of Pier 40!
Wear clothing you do not mind getting wet, and bring sunblock, bottled water, and any other supplies you deem necessary for a day at the pier. No specific swim wear is required, and alumni can rent lockers on site, but please bring your own lock.
All participants can fill out this waiver prior to the event.
As there is limited space for this event, please let us know if your plans change after registration, so we can take people off the waitlist.
The requested per-person donation can be filled out through the donation link on their page, or provided in-person in cash on the day of the event.
VCB is an all volunteer, donation-based nonprofit located on the south side of Pier 40 in Hudson River Park where they build traditional wooden rowing craft and take people out rowing for free. Their boats provide a physical connection to the water to all who live in, work in, or visit Manhattan. So all Cornell Asian alumni are welcome to attend! You can learn more about VCB and it’s mission at https://www.villagecommunityboathouse.org/.
