Speaker Topic: Free Speech Wars : From Campus To Culture

Presented by Professor William A. Jacobson / Cornell Law School

Cornell Law School professor and frequent major media commentator, William A. Jacobson will address how campus free speech challenges have now moved off-campus through the “call out” and “cancel” culture, the role of “intersectionality” theory, and the threat posed by high tech content filtering. Prof. Jacobson will discuss the political implications and some of the possible remedies. Professor Jacobson also will discuss his experiences as a conservative professor at a politically liberal Ivy League university.
