A seminal photographer and one of the greatest artists in the 20th century, Walker Evan’s iconic images of the Great Depression and his postwar photo essays depicting shop window displays, urban architecture, and junked automobiles defined a new documentary style that continues to influence generations of artists.

The Walker Evans exhibition at SFMOMA is unprecedented in scope and scale and the only presentation of this retrospective in the U.S.

Join us for a member-only event at the gallery for a Cornell alum led discussion over 300 breathtaking prints that responded to and reflected the spirit, suffering, and fortitude of America.

The private tour starts at 2:00 pm. Participants will have about two hours to explore the museum freely after the tour.

This is a member only event with a cap of 25. Join us at http://www.cornellnorcal.com/join-us.
