Join fellow Cornell Alumni and friends to volunteer at the Sacred Heart community service in San Jose for a holiday packing shift.

Sacred Heart Community Service (SHCS) is dedicated to bringing our community together to address poverty in Silicon Valley. Through a comprehensive array of resources, services, and community involvement initiatives, SHCS is making a real impact in the lives of working poor families. Their vision is a community united to ensure that every child and adult is free from poverty.

You will be volunteering in the Clothes Closet, Pantry or Donation Station. Parking is available on the street.

We will go for a group lunch after volunteering. Venue TBD

Close-toed shoes are required and layered clothing is highly recommended as some tasks may be outside in unheated areas.

Questions? Please contact Raj Uppala, MBA ’15.

Proceeds from our events go towards Cornell endowed scholarships managed by Cornell University, and platform maintenance. Learn more about the scholarships here.
