Join fellow Cornell alumni and friends for a hike at the Sweeney Ridge trail View northin San Bruno. You will be treated to gorgeous views of the San Andreas Reservoir, the Pacific Ocean, the mountains, and the bay. The trail also features historic sites like the former Nike Missile Control site and Portola Discovery site.
After the hike, we will head for an early group dinner nearby. Venue TBD.
How to get there:
Once you arrive near 3660 Sneath Ln, San Bruno, CA 94066, drive further to the start of the trailhead near and park nearby on the street. We will meet at the entrance to the trailhead.
Trail Length: ~5.5 miles.
Notes:
This is a moderate to difficult hike with somewhat steep uphill sections on the trail. Dress in layers based on the weather conditions and bring water to stay hydrated. Arrive 10 mins early so we can start on time.
