Join fellow Cornellians as we help Habitat for Humanity build a new community in San Francisco. Volunteers will help with framing, plumbing, painting, dry walling, siding, and more. No experience is necessary.

Habitat Terrace is Habitat Greater San Francisco’s largest development currently in construction. Habitat for Humanity is building 28 single-family, GreenPoint-rated homes in San Francisco’s Oceanview neighborhood. About 85 percent of the construction is done by volunteers. Experienced construction managers and Americorps staff will teach and supervise volunteers as they help provide safe, affordable homes to members of our community.

Agenda:
8:30 am – 9:00 am – Check-in, orientation, and safety briefing
9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Construction work
12:00 pm – 12:45 pm – Lunch (bring your own)
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – More construction work
4:00 pm – 4:30 pm – Clean up

Habitat for Humanity needs an accurate count of volunteers, so please register only if you can commit to the full day (volunteers cannot arrive late or leave early). Volunteers must be at least 16 years old (16-17 year olds must bring a signed waiver). These events fill quickly, so register early!
