Cornell Alumni Association of Northern California Outdoors: Bike Across the Golden Gate Bridge with Stanford University

Don’t miss the opportunity to bike the most sought after path in the Bay Area – 8-miles of pure beauty and fun from Fisherman’s Wharf to Sausalito/Tiburon

Join Cornell University alumni, Stanford University alumni and friends for an exhilarating ride across the Golden Gate Bridge – from Fisherman’s Wharf to Sausalito/Tiburon (return trip via ferry).

Imagine a clear view of the city and the Marin Headlands as we span the bridge and descend, via a thrilling downhill glide, into beautiful Sausalito. It is guaranteed to be one of the most enjoyable eight mile rides you will ever take!

The group will meet at Fisherman’s Wharf Blazing Saddles Bike Rental Shop on Columbus, where folks will be able to rent gear and pick up a ferry ticket, as needed.  We will then ride through Fisherman’s Wharf and over the Golden Gate Bridge where the Beta Team will stop in Sausalito.  The Alpha Team will continue 9 more miles to Tiburon. Both teams will then take separate ferry rides back to the Wharf.  The entire team will then have the option to join us for dinner on the Wharf or North Beach, whichever the group decides once the ride is complete.
