VIP Evening at Pixar in Concert with the Symphony

From the Toy Story trilogy to The Incredibles and UP, Pixar has forever changed filmmaking while giving us some of the most beloved characters in cinematic history. Now, Pixar is coming to you like you’ve never seen (or heard) it before: in concert with a live symphony orchestra.

This visually stunning, high-definition, multi-media family show features montages of memorable clips from Pixar’s first 14 films—including Cars, WALL•E, Ratatouille, A Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., and Brave—all accompanied by your Columbus Symphony Orchestra!

These great scores by Randy Newman, Patrick Doyle, Thomas Newman, and Michael Giacchino have collectively won 10 Grammys® and three Academy Awards, and have received 10 Oscar nominations. This is one Pops concert you won’t want to miss. Still want more?

Join HBS Club Columbus members and guests at a private VIP reception before the concert. High atop the Performing Arts Center, alumni will gather behind closed doors for a champagne toast, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and to meet the executive team—including the Musical Director—that leads the innovative Columbus Symphony Orchestra. During our reception, CSO board members will speak to our alumni audience about the ways in which venerable non-profit institutions are benefiting by thinking more like their for-profit counterparts.

Just before the curtain rises, attendees will be escorted to premium seats, arranged exclusively for HBS Club members and their guests.

Intermission for HBS Club Gold and Silver Members
During the break, special arrangements have been made for HBS Club Gold and Silver members to be invited back stage during the extended intermission. A private champagne reception, hosted by Maestro Lucas Richman and the HBS Club Columbus, will be held in the conductor’s private dressing room. Here, HBSCC members will meet the conductor in the most private of settings, and learn about the intricacies of managing a team of celebrated musicians and complex dynamics.
