Please join fellow alumni along with friends and family of our Cornell Book Award honorees at a special lecture event and awards presentation. This year, we are pleased to be featuring Sean Kirst as our speaker. Sean is well known to the Syracuse community as a columnist for the Syracuse Post-Standard, where he celebrated the people of Central New York and the history of our community. In 2016, he published The Soul of Central New York, a deeply moving collection of stories about the struggles and triumphs of the everyday men and women who define Syracuse. Sean is a popular and engaging speaker who has a gift for bringing human stories to life.
