The K-12 Initiative, led by Diane Levitt, prepares public school teachers to teach computer science to students of all backgrounds, at the intersection of rigor and joy. Break Through Tech, led by Judy Spitz, breaks down the barriers that keep college women from diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds from pursuing degrees and careers in technology. Deborah Estrin, renowned computer scientist and Associate Dean for Impact at Cornell Tech, will moderate. After the panel, enjoy a networking reception to meet fellow attendees and the speakers.
