Enjoy birds? Come hear bird enthusiast Heather Wolf, web developer for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and author of Birding at the Bridge: In Search of Every Bird on the Brooklyn Waterfront, share insights on the Cornell Lab and eBird project. e-Bird is a citizen science project that is part of a shared global effort to map bird range boundaries which inform bird habitats, migration, and species trends. Come learn of Cornell’s role in conservation of our feathered friends and enjoy connecting with other Cornellians.

About Heather Wolf:

Heather Wolf is a New York City-based birder and a web developer for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, working on projects including eBird and Birds of North America. She is the author of Birding at the Bridge: In Search of Every Bird on the Brooklyn Waterfront, and has led bird walks, classes, and lectures for various organization including NYC Audubon, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Madison Square Park, and Washington Square Park Eco Projects.
