Event Details

Come join us for a walking tour to learn about Baltimore’s historic architecture and homes!

The tour begins at the beautiful Beaux Arts style Roland Water Tower which was recently restored, and walks through three adjacent neighborhoods – Hoes Heights, Rolden, and Roland Park. Most of the tour is spent walking through Roland Park, one of the country’s earliest and most successful planned suburbs, exploring the beautiful homes (and walking paths) and also the developer’s early history of discrimination. Overall, the tour shares the unique history of these North Baltimore neighborhoods and some fun facts/stories about some of the individual homes.

The tour will be led by Jason Freeman, who runs the @historichomesofbaltimore Instagram account.
