亚瑟·甘斯勒（Arthur Gensler）于1965年在旧金山创立了Gensler。从一间三人的事务所开始，如今这家建筑设计公司已经发展到全球几十间办公室，聚集了5,000多人才。Gensler作为新时代建筑行业的典范，被评为美国建筑师协会年度最佳建筑师事务所，该奖项是美国建筑师协会颁发的最高荣誉。2016年，Gensler设计的上海中心大厦竣工，亚瑟也因其对上海市发展所做的杰出贡献而荣获白玉兰奖。他的激情、奉献和不屈不挠的坚强意志激励了众多优秀的设计人员。
Arthur Gensler founded Gensler in 1965. From an office of three people in San Francisco, the architecture and design firm has grown to over 5,000 people and dozens of design offices around the world. The reputation Gensler has secured as a model for the architectural profession in this new century led to its being named the American Institute of Architects’ Architectural Firm of the Year, the Institute’s highest honor for a collaborative practice. Art was recognized for his contributions to the city of Shanghai with the Magnolia Award in 2016, in celebration of the firm’s latest addition to the Shanghai skyline, the Shanghai Tower. His passion, dedication, and indomitable spirit, have inspired great designers and designs alike.

Art’s Principles Chinese version will be available through China Architecture & Building Press. The release of the Chinese language version of the book marks an important milestone for Art, and for the Gensler brand.
