A Rebellious Whiskey: Historical Tour of Wigle Distillery
Come one, come all to Wigle Whiskey, the first distillery to open in Pittsburgh since the 1920’s, for an educational and historical tour of the whiskey distilling process and Western Pennsylvania Whiskey Rebellion lore.
You’ll learn how Wigle goes from organic, local grain to full flavored, award winning spirits. This Cornell-only tour includes a cocktail to start, a hands on tour of the distillation process and facility, a history of the Whiskey Rebellion told through the eyes of Philip Wigle, a hero of the 1790’s Rebellion, and a seated tasting.
Date: Sunday, March 20, 2016
Time: 1:00PM
Cost: $25 per person
Location: Wigle Whiskey
2401 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA
