Event Details

Cornell Classes of ’71–’74 Summer Garden Day in Washington D.C.

We love gardens and have had a fantastic partnership with Cornell Plantations in hosting alumni events in Ithaca.  Now we are collaborating again with Plantations to give you the opportunity to appreciate the wonder and beauty of public gardens, as well as their contributions to our cultural heritage and personal well-being.

Please join us for an exciting one-day program on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Washington, D.C. with Christopher Dunn, the E. N. Wilds Executive Director of Cornell Plantations.  We will tour the U.S. Botanic Garden and the American Indian Garden at the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian.  In addition to spending time in these beautiful places, this is a great chance for us to learn more about the work that Plantations is doing with Cornell students and faculty, as well as reconnect with our classmates!

Your registration fee includes the garden tours, lunch, a Cornell Plantations metal water bottle, and a one-year membership. The Plantations membership provides terrific benefits, especially free admission to 300+ other public gardens across North America!
