Come support the Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (CUAUV) team at the 21st International RoboSub Competition, taking place at the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific’s TRANSDEC facility.  This competition is designed to advance the development of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).  With over 500 students participating from all over the world, student teams are competing for $20,000 in prizes.

Will the CUAUV team repeat it’s first place finish from 2017?  The semi-finals and finals are open to the public and will take place from Friday, August 3, through Sunday, August 5.  An outdoor jumbotron will show the underwater action, and there will be a food truck for the hungry.  Come out to see the subs and cheer on our own at this unique and kid-friendly event!

LOCATION: SSC Pacific TRANSDEC, 420 TRANSDEC Road, San Diego, CA 92106 (directions) – SCC TRANSDEC is on the way to Cabrillo National Monument but is approximately 2 miles before it and on the ocean side of the road.
