A great showing on Giving Day

Cornell’s annual Giving Day was March 12. More than 1,800 donors made gifts totalling about $1.6 million for various science-related causes. If you were one of these donors, thank you!

Student advocates get national recognition

The McClintock Letters campaign has been recognized by Research!America. This op-ed writing campaign got attention in all 50 U.S. states and led to more than 200 pieces in local newspapers, written by scientists.

Coming soon in DC

We’re hearing that the president will release his budget for FY27 around the first week of April. We expect that it will contain similar cuts to research and student aid that we saw last year. As soon as we have details, we’ll share information you can use to remind your Representatives and Senators how important these programs are to the future of our country.
