Law School Admissions Consulting

CW Admissions is a boutique law school admissions consulting firm offering high-touch, strategy-driven support. We work closely with each applicant to build a thoughtful admissions plan, identify compelling themes, and partner with professional writers to craft polished, authentic materials.

I’m a former federal attorney, legislative aide, and financial advisor. I’ve served as an admissions reader for UVA Law, worked with a nationally known law school admissions firm, and supported applicants from a wide range of backgrounds through both nonprofit and private consulting. My cross-sector experience across law, policy, and admissions allows me to bring a strategic, compassionate approach to every client’s journey.

If you’re a Cornell parent or alum supporting a law school applicant, I’d be happy to chat and share more about how I work.

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) Practitioner

RTT® is a therapeutic approach that uses powerful, evidence-based techniques to provide people with the tools they need to make positive change.

The roots of RTT® are drawn from within areas of traditional psychotherapy such as gestalt, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy and mindfulness.

Its personalized approach works with clients to help them reframe any negative beliefs, values, habits and emotions – many of which they have carried with them since childhood.

Often, these have been so deeply buried in their subconscious that they are unaware of the past issues affecting them.

By giving the client the potential to alter the way they think and put an end to negative self-talk, they can approach life in a positive way and move forward.

Melissa Martin, Rapid Transformational Therapy® Practitioner, is on fire with her passion of helping others get relief from issues in their life through Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®). She has a gentle and intuitive way about her with being a massage therapist and energy worker for the past 20 years. Please book your online hypnotherapy session or purchase your gift card through the website.

Estate Planning

Estate planning as a holiday gift is a unique and thoughtful way to show your loved ones you care about their future well-being and security. Unlike traditional presents, estate planning provides long-lasting peace of mind and can alleviate potential stress and confusion for your family during difficult times. By gifting estate planning services or initiating the process together, you’re not only preparing for the future but also opening up important conversations about family values, legacy, and financial responsibility – creating a meaningful and enduring holiday experience that goes beyond material gifts.

Ecological Landscapes and Gardens: Thicket Workshop

A plant-focused design firm, Thicket Workshop crafts ecological landscapes and gardens in Ithaca, NY, and across the region.

We work at a variety of scales—from reimagining a family’s front yard as a pollinator bonanza, to planting a savanna on a city lot, to developing a plan for biodiverse habitat hedgerows on a 50-acre farm.

A commitment to ecology and allowing other species to thrive shapes our work. Plants can offer solutions: for habitat, for storm water, for cooling, for erosion. We also aim to spark wonder, curiosity, and joy—connecting people and plants, at home and in public spaces.

We offer in-person and virtual consultations.

Property Damage Claims Experts

At ClaimsAdvisor, we help you take control of your property insurance claim. Insurance companies may try to minimize your claim’s value, but with our expertise, you can navigate the process, protect your rights, and maximize your settlements. Unfortunately, insurance companies often use “delay, deny, and defend” tactics to minimize property damage claims. Without public adjusters, claimants may face denials or underpayments, realizing their property’s value is lower than expected. We assist in preparing for a proper settlement.

Get protected at ClaimsAdvisor.com.
