LGBTQ Health at a Crossroads: A Discussion with Harvard Leaders of the LGBTQ Health Center of Excellence

REGISTER NOW

DATE: Wednesday, April 16, 2025
TIME: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET
LOCATION: Online (Zoom)

You’re invited to a fireside chat about LGBTQ health moderated by Dr. William Bean (AB ’77), a Harvard Chan School of Public Health faculty member and advisor to their newly launched LGBTQ Health Center of Excellence. He’ll be in conversation with the Center’s two leaders—Drs. Brittany Charlton and Kerith Conron—about groundbreaking research and how it shapes the future of the LGBTQ community, especially during these turbulent times.

At a time when LGBTQ health care is under fire, the leaders of Harvard’s LGBTQ Health Center of Excellence are standing firm. Fresh off filing a federal lawsuit to protect critical NIH funding, these champions of equity aren’t backing down—they’re doubling down. Join us for a powerful conversation on what it means to lead with courage, defend progress, and remain undeterred in the fight for inclusive, affirming health care. This is a story of resilience, resistance, and hope.

This event is open to all in the Cornell community, and we encourage you to extend this invitation to your peers and fellow alumni.
