Dr. Mandy Cohen ’00 has been named the new director of the CDC. President Joe Biden, who appointed Dr. Cohen to the post, said she is "one of the nation’s top physicians and health leaders with experience leading large and complex organizations, and a proven track-record protecting Americans’ health and safety.”
