Daniel Mansoor ’79, MBA ’80 to receive Outstanding Class Leader Award at Reunion
Congratulations to our 2026 Vanneman Award winner, Daniel Mansoor ’79, MBA ’80!
Dan has been a dedicated volunteer for the Class of 1979 for over 40 years, serving in roles from president to treasurer to Reunion campaign co-chair. In 1999, he created the Class of 1979 Memorial Scholarship, which has since grown it into one of Cornell’s largest class scholarships.
Dan regularly brings together Cornell classmates, students, parents, faculty, and alumni. Whether he’s facilitating introductions, collecting updated contact information, or finding lost classmates, his efforts have strengthened the entire Cornell community. In the words of his fellow class officers, "It’s hard to imagine too many other Cornellians who eat and breathe carnelian red and white like Dan."
