Men’s Lacrosse ’76, ’77, & ’78 Teams Reunion

March 27-29, 2026 | Ithaca, NY

2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the ‘76 National Championship team, and the Big Red is planning a joint-reunion for the legendary teams from the late ‘70s. An alumni reunion committee comprised of leaders from each of the ’76, ’77, and ’78 teams welcome former players, families, and friends back to campus for a reunion weekend and home matchups.

Save the date—March 27-29, 2026—for a weekend of Big Red Lacrosse events and honoring the National Championship teams from the late ‘70s and their incredible 42 game win streak during that era.

Weekend Schedule includes:

Friday, March 27

• 6:00 PM: Informal Gathering at LaTourelle (1150 Danby Rd. Ithaca, NY)

Saturday, March 28

• 12:00 PM: Women’s Lacrosse vs Dartmouth at Schoellkopf Field
• 1:00 PM: Pregame Tailgate in Crescent Parking Lot
• 3:30 PM: Cornell Men’s Lacrosse vs. Yale at Schoellkopf Field
  • On-field recognition of the 1976, 1977, and 1978 teams
• 6:00 PM: Postgame Tailgate in Crescent Parking Lot
• 7:30 PM: Alumni Dinner at Statler Hotel

Note: Dress code is “Cornell Casual” all day (i.e. Big Red apparel)
