Zinck’s Night is Cornell’s world-wide annual social event, held each year on the third Thursday of October. Celebrate the legacy and tradition of Theodore Zinck’s, a saloonkeeper in Ithaca. His pub, the Hotel Brunswick, was a popular gathering place for Cornellians in the 1890s. After his death in 1903, several bars using his name continued to provide a haven for students. When the last “Zinck’s” closed in the mid-60s, celebrating the spirit of Zinck’s became a favorite Thursday night Collegetown tradition of undergraduates. It wasn’t long afterwards that Cornellians continued the tradition in their hometowns. In recent years, Cornell Clubs have celebrated as many as 100 Zinck’s worldwide events on this same night!

Come join us at the Blend Bar and Bistro in Hamilton Square, NJ, from 6pm-9pm for an informal gathering sponsored by the Cornell Club of Central NJ.  $10 registration fee covers hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages, with full cash bar available.
