Building upon their solid foundational work through the former Cornell Alumni Association, Cornell Asia Alumni Leadership Advisors (CAALA) formalized as a regional alumni leadership team spring of 2016, serving as a two-way bridge between the university and Cornellians in the Asia Pacific. Members of the group are experienced alumni leaders based in the region. They partner closely with International Alumni Relations and other members of the leadership and professional team in Ithaca to promote best practices among alumni clubs and mentor emerging volunteer leaders in the Asia-Pacific, with the goal to broaden and deepen Cornell’s engagement reach in the region.
