Yarns derived from seaweed, designed by a Cornell alum!

The fashion industry produces 10% of the world's carbon emissions, and Minji Kim MS ’14, PhD ’19 is working to change that. Minji works at a startup called AlgiKnit, where she creates biodegradable yarns derived from seaweed. The raw materials are sourced from kelp, one of the most renewable organisms on the planet.
