The good Cornellians can do: Thomas Windmuller ’77
Every Wednesday evening, Thomas Windmuller ’77 and his wife volunteer with local food pantries in his hometown of Signy-Avenex, Switzerland.
Local supermarkets in their area donate food to help those in need. Thomas volunteers with two organizations, “The Lost Food Project” and “Coup de Main” (Helping Hand), to distribute this food to community members.
“Many of the needy recipients are refugees from Ukraine, the Middle East, and Africa,” Thomas says, “and some are elderly Swiss who are living off of insufficient pensions.”
Cornellians around the globe are sharing how they do good in communities big and small. Share your own story.
