The invasive spotted lanternfly can hurt plants and trees by feeding on their leaves and stems. Their spread is tracked by Cornell's New York State Integrated Pest Management project, and they have now been spotted in 12 states, including New York. Adam Hollier ’07 always knew he wanted to run for office. He's a Democratic candidate for a House seat in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District, which includes Detroit.
