The whales have returned to the NY/NJ Harbor! After being nominated by Judith Judith Shulman Weis ’62, the harbor was named a ‘Hope Spot’ by Mission Blue (Sylvia Earle’s organization). “This is a recognition that what was once an open sewer is now thriving with life (even whales!),” Judith says. The Bezos Earth Fund has awarded $9.9 million to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS).
