In 2006, Irwin '54, BEE '56, and Joan '54 Jacobs made a $30 million commitment to endow scholarships and fellowships in Cornell’s College of Engineering. Over the past 18 years, the Jacobs Scholarships and Fellowships in Engineering have fueled the educations of more than 500 Cornell Engineering students—through nearly 1,300 awards.
