Fifteen new members, including Olympic medalists, national champions, and All-Americans, have been named to the Cornell University Athletics Hall of Fame. The Class of 2023 induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 30, during Homecoming.

Horticulture professor Steve Reiners says that wildfire smoke can be hazardous for humans, but not so much for vegetable crops. The smoke only reduces photosynthesis and impacts pollinators to a small degree and only temporarily.

On July 8, Cornell Outdoor Education (COE) friends, supporters, students, advisory board members, and alumni gathered to watch 89-year-old Jon Lindseth '56 climb the Lindseth Climbing Wall. Jon is the benefactor behind the wall, which is a central component of COE’s offerings. COE, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, is now the largest collegiate outdoor education program in the country.
