If you're wondering when to get your COVID vaccine, the answer is now, says Dr. Keith Roach, an attending physician at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. “COVID is a persistent threat and cases are high right now. If you are vaccinated, you will get immediate protection and your risk of severe illness or hospitalization will be low,” Dr. Roach says.

Cornell and Ithaca College faculty and students will offer free tax assistance to local residents, including international students. Thomas Godwin, professor of practice at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, will oversee Cornell's free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic at the Tompkins County Public Library in spring 2024.
