Students in NTRES3152 - Field Methods in Conservation Bioacoustics spent their winter break in Hawaiʻi recording the sounds of species that inhabit the island. The group helped plant Native tree seedlings as part of an ongoing restoration forest restoration project. Touchdown tagged along to help.

“During my first week, I walked along Beebe Lake and saw a couple of deer roaming and ever since then, my favorite place on campus has been the small bench next to Beebe. It's a wonderful place to just decompress after class or have a nice conversation with a friend.”
This year's Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecture will feature activist, writer, and lecturer Angela Davis, speaking in Bailey Hall on Monday, February 3, at 7:00 p.m. EST. The talk is free and open to the public, both in person and via livestream. Registration is required for all online attendees.
