The good Cornellians can do: Jane Plitt ’69

Jane R Plitt '69

"It's never too late to make a difference," says Jane Plitt '69.

Jane founded the National Center of Women's Innovations—at age 76.  Jane, an award-winning small business owner and arbitrator, says she founded the nonprofit under the principle, "to be it, you must see it."

"Within one year, it has a vibrant base of supporters" she says, all aligned with the mission of bringing "recognition to forgotten women innovators who have changed the world, and to use that recognition and hands-on-STEM programs to inspire young girls to be innovative like their foremothers."

Cornellians around the globe are sharing how they do good in communities big and small. Share your own story.
