Class of 2004 engineer assists with Mars landing

Swati Mohan '04 has worked on the Mars 2020 mission from near the start of the project in 2013. She is currently the Mars 2020 Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GN&C) Operations Lead. Her team is effectively the "eyes and ears" of the spacecraft, controlling its position and helping it land safely on the surface of Mars on February 18.
