Alum’s software helps teachers measure student engagement

Nona Ullman '88, CEO of LessonLoop and president of Improve LLC, talked with the Startup Cornell podcast about building her business, which aims to improve learning for kids in K-12 classrooms by helping teachers to measure student engagement. She also offers advice for young entrepreneurs, along with tips on tools and practices that she's found helpful in her career.

The Startup Cornell podcast, which launched in summer 2021, features interviews with Cornell entrepreneurs, who tell their stories of successes and failures and offer actionable advice for building and growing a business. It’s available on the Entrepreneurship at Cornell website, as well as Apple podcasts, Spotify and Soundcloud. It’s being created with help from Bert Odom-Reed of the Cornell Broadcast Studios and edited by Abigail Younger.
