Join us on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 3:30PM to 4:30 PM to help the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County achieve its mission to feed the hungry. May 10th is the nation-wide Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The Food Bank will need extra help to receive donations collected by the National Association of Letter Carriers in the Stamford Post Offices.
We will sort food, stock shelves, check expiration dates and assist with recently dropped off donations.
If you would like to make this a family event, children 12 and over are welcome.
Registration is capped at 10 people.

For background, the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, Inc., a fully recognized I.R.C. § 501 (c) (3) charity, is one of lower Fairfield County’s primary hunger-relief organizations. It provides food to approximately 90 non-profit agencies and programs that serve low income people in a six town service area through bags of groceries and congregate meals. These include soup kitchens, food pantries, child care programs, homeless shelters, senior centers, domestic violence safe houses, and rehabilitation programs. Some of the agencies supported include: Neighbor to Neighbor, Person to Person, The Salvation Army, Open Door Shelter, New Covenant Center, and Pacific House.
